The NCB had last week con ducted a vigilance inquiry into the claim made by a witness related to extortion bid of Rs 25 crore made to some NCB officials, including Wankhede, for releasing Aryan.Ī team of NCB, led by Wankhede, had in October alleged that it seized drugs onboard cruise ship Cordelia off the Mumbai coast. Wankhede has been leading the probe into the drugs cruise case, in which actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was arrested on Octobe r 3, along with Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha. The NCB official met the DDG in Headquarters over some issues, said the sources.
