As Reddit user TheBardAbaddon pointed out on the r/gaming subreddit Tuesday, the all-black rectangular Xbox Series X is strikingly similar to Spider-Verse's Kingpin essentially a brick wall in a suit. Kingpin is the only Spider-Man Near Pure Evil to appear in an animated film.With the recent release of Sony's PlayStation 5 and Microsoft's Xbox Series X, early adopters have been looking for ways to give the next-gen consoles a unique twist.While Kingpin is currently Near Pure Evil, there's a possibility that this may change if he returns in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One).However, this is a minor prevention since he was already a criminal before it happened. He has a genuine tragedy, having lost his wife and son due to them dying from a car crash and this serves as the motivation for his actions throughout the entirety of the film.Him seeking his family back is somewhat played for sympathy and his entire goal is to use the Collider to find alternate versions of them and when he sees versions of them from a different dimension, he desperately begs for them to stay with him. He loved his wife and child and was devastated when they died.Though the loss of his wife and child is a minor tragedy, their deaths in no way excuse his actions as he brought his misery onto others and was already a criminal when it happened.After his goal failed, he tried to murder Miles so he can never see his family again as revenge for Miles “taking away his family”, even though it was his own fault they left him the second time.
